In August of 1949, to so-called ideological law suits
were in vogue. Though innocent, she was implicated in a conspiracy against
the State and sentenced to eleven years imprisonment. No matter how much
she protested her total innocence, it did not help. She served time in
all of the nation's prisons for women. In 1956, all "conspirators"
were freed and scattered to the winds. This was the compensation for seven
years of suffering, humiliation and torment! Following this prison term,
she was totally physically debilitated. During exercise in the prison
courtyard a guard hit her with a riffle butt. She fell to the wet pavement
and broke her leg. Kind friends from prison helped her get good medical
care after she was released. The spirit of 1956 was blown away by the
winds of bolshevism and thus she was only allowed to work in the private
sphere. Fortunately, Divine Providence did not forget Sister Julia. When
she began to look for lodging, she met Mr. and Mrs. Faklya, who loved
her as a member of their family until the end. She was very sickly, particularly
with heart problems. In December of 1977, she quietly died in her sleep.
During one of her heart attacks, Jesus appeared to her. |
